Is a PhD candidate with the School of Architecture and Built Environment and the Cognitive Neuroscience Unit at Deakin University, Victoria, Australia. Her research examines whether the design characteristics of interior built environments modulate neural networks involved in emotion regulation.
Isabella has worked with the Faculty of Architecture, Building and Planning at The University of Melbourne and the Office of the Victorian Government Architect, Department of Premier and Cabinet, State of Victoria. In 2018 she was awarded the inaugural John Paul Eberhard Fellowship by the Academy of Neuroscience for Architecture and a Creativity and Innovation Grant from Creative Futures Ltd. She was also the 2019 President for the Students of Brain Research (SOBR) Network, which connects Honours and PhD level brain research students from all institutions, faculties, schools and labs across Victoria, Australia.
